Who are the Snowsport Industries of Great Britain?
The SIGB (Snowsport Industries of Great Britain) is the trade association for snow sports in the UK.
The SIGB is headed up by a 15-strong committee representing different aspects of the trade and currently has a membership base of 191 organisations including 72 retail members, 114 suppliers and 10 travel members.
What do they do?
As the trade association for snowsports in the UK, the SIGB have a lot of influence and support in the snowsports industry through their consumer brand, Snowlife which aims to generate interest and ultimately increase participation in skiing and snowboarding at all levels.
The SIGB has been contributing to the snowsports industry for many
years now through Slide, the winter trade show as well as various other
initiatives such as the Ski test and Snowboard test.
